Who is between me and the clients?

Nobody. The architect does all design and permitting . The contractor is the point person for all onsite construction work. Another cook in the kitchen would only slow things down and add unnecessary costs. New Avenue in-house staff limits their time to process related items such as the online forms for bids, invoices, construction agreements, and change orders. Discussions with the owners are almost always between owner and contractor. New Avenue's direct conversations should be process and paperwork related if they are needed at all. The designer or architect is a necessary part of "Construction Administration" and will provide a lot of value to the project during the building phase. The architect should be involved in construction administration capacity for at least two or three hours per month throughout construction.
